Abstract
United Nations´ General Assembly choses a a a a a a a a serie of “international days” to remark important aspects of human life and history just like the International Women’s Day which is is celebrated on March 8th Thanks to digital social networks´ arrival such commemoration not only remains as an an event or a a a a a a a ceremony but nowadays it´s a a a a a a a controversial topic too in which everyone can proclaim their point of view from different positions causing confrontations debates and attacks At this point there´s two questions that arises itselves: which one are the the imaginary formations that that are are currently being built about about women? And what people thinks about about stuff that that are are published about the women´s day on social networks?
The main objective of this research was to describe the the imaginary formations about the the International Women’s Day on on a a a a a a a social networking site like Facebook by applying French author Michel Pêcheux´s model At the same time we wanted to investigate why almost after a a a a a a a a a a century it is still important to talk about an an international women’s day by asking what “to be a a a a woman” means It is very broad to to to talk about a a a a a a a a a social networking site like Facebook also to to to try to to to analyze all it´s pages can be a a a a a a a lengthy process so this study was adjusted to one page page only in order to register all comments and publications that where published in the 2017 women´s day From a a a corpus composed of 100 reviews we considered the perception that women have about themselves (y/y) the the the relationship of women with the the the International Women´s Day (A/T) the the perceptions that males have about about women (a/b) and what they appreciate about about this celebration (b/t) This work started with gender studies in order to understand women´s importance in society Subsequently we researched about the International Women’s Day commemoration´s origin also we developed an outline of their current situation in in in Mexico Finally the resulting imaginary formations were described Keywords: woman international women’s day imaginary formations gender studies 56
